Doncaster memoirs of World War II /
Adult Learner's week award
2005 was the 60th anniversary of WW2 and
volunteers collected war time memoirs from our daycentre clients.
This work has been recognised by the volunteers being awarded "The National
Adult Learners Week Award"

Living History
Project
The Heritage Lottery Fund
has recently awarded a grant to Age Concern Doncaster to carry out a living
history project involving older people and school children in Doncaster. The
Project was launched on 5th May by Rosie Winterton, MP.

Age Concern Products and
Services
Age Concern Enterprises offers a range of products and services designed with
the needs of the over 50s in mind. It arranges insurance through a network of
Appointed Representatives operating from around 300 local Age Concerns across
the UK. Age Concern Enterprises is authorised and regulated by the Financial
Services Authority.
Any profits generated by Age Concern from these products go directly to support
Age Concern’s charitable activities both locally and nationally.

with the help you need.

Daycare Services
Day Services provide an opportunity for an older person who may be physically or
mentally frail or isolated in their own home to get out of their home for the
day. Older people who use this service come to a local centre where there are a
range of activities available, a cooked lunch and good company.
